Its hard to say Dan construction costs have gone up so much that I would not
know anymore- I suspect you are right on that one.Too bad 2million used to
buy a lot. But we are getting back to my original point that the CFL should
have some expectations about the baseline seating of a facility. Also maybe
its just me but temp stands at a major event like that look so bushleague.

They did it at the Heritage Classic too but just so the famous people and
politicians could have fat-ass seats close to the action while any normal
plebian was 100's of feet away. FWIW the Oil spent a shitload of unnecessary
money too. For instance was it ever necessary to advertize? Demand for the
event was 20X what the attendance was. In their wisdom? they somehow saw fit
to spend millions on advertizing anyway. No need for the temp stands there
or the big beer tents (two) that were reserved for special people. one was
for clubbox patrons, politicians while the other was for sponsors. Each of
these tents was large enough for 1000,s of people- was one not enough?
Better yet, were any necessary? Commonwealth has more than adequate
facilities, this was all about exclusivity. Important people can't mingle
with the common riff raff I guess but thats a whole other rant for some
othertime- heh, sorry in advance!
