I like ur topic about a twelve team league, but with a little variation.

Sure Expand into Halifax, Quebec City, and London ON!
But create a three 4-team division league.
East - Halifax, Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa
Central - Toronto, Hamilton, London, Winnipeg
West - Saskatchewan, Edmonton, Calgary, BC

For playoffs have the top 2 teams in each division plus 1 wildcard team.
Week 1 playoffs;
The Top team with the overall best League record gets a bye.
The wildcard team plays the 2nd place team in the Top team division.
The other two divisions have the 2nd place teams play the Division winners.
Week 2 playoffs;
The winner of the wildcard/2nd place plays the Top Team Overall
The Other 1st/2nd Divisional winners play each other in the 2nd Game.
Week 3 Playoffs is the Final championship GREY CUP!

What's ya think?
