Well, to answer > your question... both are equitable to those teams that benefit - and > both are inequitable to those teams that don't benefit. Simple, really. > > deker19 Either you are really bloody thick or purposely missing the point. I'll try to explain this just once more. Very simply. Read carefully. The Father/son rules applies to ALL the AFL clubs. For those WA & SA clubs without the VFL history, the AFL recognises their local leagues. For example if a Bob Smith played for Swan Districts & accumulated over 100 games, either West Coast or Freo can claim his son under the F/S rule. The Swans can claim the ex South Melb. players' sons. The Brions can clain the ex Fitzoy players' sons. In SA & WA, it is up to the son to choose which club. Just like David Cloke played for both Richmond and Collingwood and Jason Cloke could have gone to either Richmond or Collingwood. In fact initially, he wanted to go to Richmond but they did not want him, and Collingwood did. However that is another subject. The $concessions ONLY apply to a few interstate clubs, not all the AFL clubs. THAT is not equitable. The Brions had an extra $700,000 this year to spend on its players. All the Victorian clubs did not. So YOU tell me how that is a fair system dude? One that leads an interstate club with a $concession card to win three flags in a row, and they probably will end up with quite a few more over the next few years. Now unless you are a Brions fan, HOW can you support a unfair system like that which will prevent YOUR club from winning a flag for years dude? I just cant understand that line of thinking at all. So much for the other Victorian club fans hanging shit on Collingwood's loss but we did much better than them all season & was clearly the best Vic team in the Comp. This unfair system affects their clubs as well! Such brainy supporters............they should ALL now support the Brions if they enjoyed their win over us so much!! Such passionless supporters! Thankfully, we don't have them at Collingwood dudes. Lazza >
