I say to bring it out into the light, right there on the field; not just keep it between you and the obstinate defender. Presumably there were at least 12 other people there. What did they have to say about putting arms in someone's back while cutting? If everyone else won't have it, and no one backs you, then you're in the wrong crowd. Stick to people who don't refuse to honor calls and play fair. Either that, or be obstinate right back, because you have to stick to your calls, unless you prefer playing and getting fouled.
