Assume: a spherical planet If you are at the center of the planet/sphere, then all points of the field are equidistant from you (by definition of a sphere). As you move away from center to the backside of the planet (opposite the center of the field). The center of the field becomes the furthest point--it is the only point you are walking *directly* away from. The corners become the closest. Merlin
