Well, Robin's basic argument is he thinks the zone is boring, so we
should make it illegal.  I chose to take the opposite view.  Yep,
looks like we've nailed the topic down, alright.

So, I argued for 1) and 2), I was seated while I did this.  Basically
I felt that the other guy (crayon) had a good point, that it works,
and I would chime in as to why it works... it's practical, it's
difficult to execute and to beat, it is actually interesting to watch
(for the previously stated reasons in the previous posts), and is not
damaging to the reputation, or integrity of Ultimate.  Like he said,
any strategy that works (within the rules) is fair and should be
available.  That's a good argument....how is zone possibly unfair to
the opponent?  If I got defensive, well...it was just because I was
defendin' something.  I'm sorry that things have suddenly got so
personal...

How???  Oh, and if true, is minimizing your weaknesses wrong?  

So, I'd love to hear your opinions on poaching, then.  Doesn't it take
away fun from the receiver when a second defender steps into the
throwing lane and denies you a pass?  Doesn't it take away a
defender's sense of athleticism if he's just standing in one place,
playing off an unskilled player, to get a D?

God, defense makes the game so fucking boring when they're doing their
job and shutting us down!!!
