The receiver is 99% of the time watching the disc into his/her hand, not watching his/her feet. a trailing defender is usually watching their feet because they are praying they are going to land out since they weren't there making the D. And by the rules, you can't just say "I overrule you" to a player who had a perspective they feel is better than yours. If the player is way out of position, then that's one thing, but say on a line call, a player right on the line can make the call better than you can if you're toeing the line. If you can't agree, send it back. thems tha rules.
