For the last 5 years or so, we've just played straight through the winter here in St. Louis. The only thing that has really been a problem is ice. Snow is OK, and you can play in cleats. Put plastic bags around your socks (bread bags work well.) If they slide around inside your shoes, put another layer of socks outside the plastic. This works even for me, and I have a problem w/Reynaud's. If you practice in the worst conditions you can find, you'll do much better when the tourney turns out to have bad weather. How many teams have you run across that can't even deal with wind? And if you are in the midwest, Tofurkey in Columbia, MO is next weekend (Dec. 6/7) Speaking of cold weather tourneys :) Lynn > What do most college teams in cold weather regions do for winter > practice? Last year my team didn't take step out into the Wisconsin > cold between winter break and March. Practice was always in the gym.
