What I meant was that there needs to be changes in order for the sport to become mainstream. But these changes won't be influenced directly from fans of other mainstream sports. Our lack of popularity will influence the changes and the changes will come from people currently involved in our sport. As we make changes and the sport gains some more wide spread appeal we will start to attract those other fans. But they will not be directly influencing our sport. Make sense?
