Sorry, I forgot to mention that one club in our area uses the  'Canadian rule' of calling a burned shot as the back of the rock crossing the hog line prior to  release rather than the leading edge of the rock.

There seems to be some debate as to releasing at or near the hog line.  Is there a difference in the rulings (CCA,WCF,USCA etc)?
