My contention (as skip) was to peel the guard. My 'boys' requested that I play a tap_back on the yellow in the rings. I told them they were dreaming or smoking ... and that any self respecting curler would peel the guard (a REAL curler would rip the guard with out_turn, make the double on run back, and perhaps even leave the red shooter as a corner on top of red in the rings :) None_the_less (maybe I'm drinking and /or smoking as well with that wish), the guard has to go. Are there ANY contenders to that theory out there ?? If so, I wanna hear your rationale for playing something other than ripping the guard.
