I have used my laptop to run DVDs and connected the S-video out cable to
the TV and seen the movies on TV. Your TV should be able to take in S-video
input. The audio is still in the laptop speakers or in the ones connected
to it. You need to set the DISPLAY properties on the PC to share it with
other devices, like TV etc. This way you can use the TV as the display
for the PC.
