Bloody hell. I remember a tour of Pakistan-A (where he did pretty well), and a tour of England-A (where he also did pretty well), and the odd games at home here and there (WI-A where he did poorly IIRC). But 15 is a lot more than I thought. This one innings has brought his average up to 41.85 now, if your numbers above are correct! I wonder what other A-tour averages are like for some of the Indian players. Gambhir must be pretty high (good tour of SL and England IIRC, ordinary one of RSA), Sriram not so high (with poor tours of SL and WI IIRC, and a good one of England). Kanitkar probably highest of all, with good home series against WI-A and a good tour of SL-A as captain. Even the much maligned Abhijit Kale probably has a decent average in A-tours, with decent ones of both WI and RSA. Sadiq [ no A-tours of Australia yet ] Yusuf >Andrew > > > > > > > >
