Carseldine is good. But he's never really had much of a chance to
shine through for a number of reasons. Make-up of various teams he's
had the chance to be in have often left a less than adequate spot open
for him and he's managed to be injured in the middle of a run of good
form or a little out of form just as he's given the chance to prove
himself at a decent level (which he gets very few goes at because
there's not -really- a spot open for a player of his type in the sides
he's played for).

Had he moved interstate a few years back, he might be pushing for
national selection. As it is, he's no where near contention and fair
enough. Because he's hardly ever shown that he should be.

A missed opportunity is LC.
