I am fully aware of the optical illusion."Paul Robson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
.... is the conclusion I have come to after watching this morning's cricket. The arm definitely straightens, even allowing for the socket rotation.
You cannot judge Murali's action by naked eye whether his stock deliver or top spin.. His action has to be filmed from two different angles and played on the same screen to judge whether he is chucking or not. What you have probably seen is the Optical illusion(explained in another thread). However, Murali also can throw a delivery like any other bowler. These days a bowler is filmed in more than 6 angles. So it is very difficult to get away with chucking, like in the case of Lawson.
I don't blame you for that, since you saw it from your naked eye.
