Why is that Hamish has been preferred over his > twin bro' in the NZ Team setup? Dunno. When Hamish was called up as injury cover for the Test side in South Africa, the joke doing the rounds was that the selectors had called up the wrong brother by mistake (they being identical twins). He made his Test debut in the final match of the series, and scored a gritty 40* after being hit on the head early. > Are these two good enough to play together for NZ someday? They've both been in the 'promising' basket for several years without ever scoring enough runs to be considered serious contenders. Hamish had played 42 first-class and 61 'List A' one-day matches before today without ever scoring a century, which isn't a great record for a bloke who normally opens the batting. Andrew
