Didn't I just read you comparing Gerry Cooney's record to Joe Frazier's?
Nah, he didn't really, give him a break. He made the comparison only to
try to point out the fallacy of using raw numbers in evaluating a guy's
accomplishments within a specific time period. His point was, Cooney
scored six wins in a decade, Frazier scored seven, Frazier's seven wins
mean a lot, couldn't Cooney's six wins mean a lot, too? It doesn't mean
he believes that Cooney's and Frazier's accomplishments are comparable;
it just meant he wanted me to see that it's NOT a valid way to rank
guys. I've acknowledged that it's not, however.
