I don't look at it that way. Ali and Frazier always stopped Quarry.
Very different levels of fighters, even the comebacking version of Ali.
Ali looked far better than Quarry in that first meeting (as well as
in the rematch). Had it not been for the cut, Ali would have stopped Quarry
anyway.
Joe Frazier vs. Quarry? C'mon.
Now Quarry vs. a peak Mercer level fighter looks to heavily
favor Quarry. Mercer obviously had the skills to hang tough with Lewis and
most of that level of heavyweight.
But vs. Ali and Frazier? You can't stack many against those two
heavyweights. Don't start with Quarry, much as I like his fighting ability.
