I was only talking about using too much spin.  What do you mean by "be 
conservative"?  I suppose the answer is in the risk/reward equation: 
you gain by "stretching" yourself in competition (as well as in 
practice), but you might lose the competition as a result.  You gotta do 
it sometime, but you can choose the time.
