If the Pivot Point is closer to your bridge length (more squirt), then
yes, it could mask some stroke errors. We've talked here a number of
times about the idea that break cues maybe should have short Pivot
Points (high squirt) for that reason: because your stroke on the break
is probably less reliable than on softer shots, and higher squirt can
help to compensate for your stroke errors. Of course (you probably
heard this comment coming), I wouldn't recommend a higher squirt cue for
playing -- I'd recommend getting a better stroke.
