Mr. skinny pencil and I are getting along famously. I played with it
for a few hours yesterday and I think I'm actually playing better
already as a result. At least I ERO'd twice in a row (8-ball) for the
first time ever. Maybe a 'new shaft' syndrome. But it is forcing me to
think about exactly where I want to put the tip on the cue ball... and
the by-product is that I seem to be much more accurate with my cue
ball position. I'm still over hitting draw shots with it but that'll
come in time because it's a 'feel' thing.

Was it Ron who plays with a small diameter shaft? If so, did you go
through the same kind of transition when you switched?
