<snip> > feel bad!!! The truest, and fairest method of scoring, is the GUY WITH THE MOST > POINTS EARNED WHILE PLAYING WITHIN THE RULES WIN!!!! I agree. Question - If we are playing on a league and I shoot my average and you shoot your average, then who wins? Would it then be considered a draw and we have to play again to determine a winner? I've seen scoring systems that allow the better team that shoots only their average to win all of the time. Are you saying that a "fair handicapping" system in league play would allow the better teams to compete with the "average" teams and if both teams shoot their respective "average" then they should tie? If so, I disagree. The better team should score above their "average" when playing a "good" team because the better team has the more skilled players. > > Bob Campbell<---will never understand how the words "handicap" and "fair" can > be put in the same sentance. > > Alan -- Gr8Pool <--- Will never understand how someone with a lower handicap could ever get a fair chance to improve their game without an incentive to win. :-)
