What is it that makes you not recomend it? somewhat based on personal preference when I was learning to pocket balls I gravitated to focus on the OB contact point - I felt, and still do, it is more precise to visualize a target the size of the head of a pin, than one the size of a cue ball also, review the post from wayne crimi - your final goal is to be able to look at a ball and just 'know' where and how to hit it <the aiming process is then internalized> at that point, concentrating on the OB seems more natural to me but many very good players do it differently - so you should use what works best for you Dale > >By the way, I actually think instructor is pretty great.
