hit?
Yes, it is not, and that should be obvious upon thoughtful reflection
(apologies to RS). A "half ball hit" wasn't named for the cut angle it
creates; it was named for the spacial relationship of the CB and OB (CB
center aligned with OB edge) *from the perspective of the shooter*, and
describes the way to aim the shot to achieve the hit. Obviously, this
all only makes sense in relation to the "aim line" ("shot line"), not
the line between CB/OB centers.
