Re: Base of Ball or Edge of Ball??

Fred;

OK, Fred. "Above, Below, Inside, Outside, On, Behind, In-Front" !!!!
It's amuzing but confuzing isn't it?? Anyway I have appreciated
all the comments and viewpoints received from you and others
in regard to my question.

I now have enough, I think, to make a convincing argument within our
little group. We will be using the BASE OF THE BALL. And, a ball
"Exactly ON the head string" will be considered as;
1. "below" the head string,
2. "behind the head string,
3. "outside" the kitchen (whether it be an object ball or a cueball).
(Have I got all that right now ?? <chuckle>)

This, of course, means that no one can legally break from the head
spot but that's probably no biggy.

MY THANKS TO ALL WHO RESPONSED !!!
