Road player Identity?????

Road player who called himself "Dan" came through LA area pool room
last Friday.  He is white, about 25-26, with brown eyes and super
short (military type) haircut.  He is very thin-wiry build, and maybe
5'8" to 5'9" tall.  Spoke with what sounded like a slight southern
accent.  Used merry widow type cue, dark wood, maybe cocobola, with
black wrap.  Was with another white guy with dark hair and eyes (maybe
190 lbs) who is a way lesser player.  The thin player plays one pocket
exceptionally well.  He banks great and has really good control of the
cue ball.  One of his style quirks is his sometime use of body english
after the shot to "urge" a ball in his hole.  For example he'd do a
dip when a ball was rolling slowly toward his hole and just on the
verge of dropping in!

In my estimation he'd have to be one the top 25 one pocket players in
the country.  In two 3 ahead sets for 400 jellybeans each, he handled
one of the better young local shortstops with complete ease.

Anyone have an idea who this guy is?  He plays WAY too good to be
unknown.
