Responsibilities: Manage WNBA online projects including league and team sites, including publishing daily content (text, photos, video, etc.) Create programming plans and processes to update sites on a daily basis, as well as launch special sections (draft, playoffs, All-Star) throughout the season Coordinate WNBA site and content with WNBA league executives, NBA TV and other NBAE properties Work with other Interactive Services staff and league staff to develop and implement content to support sponsors, league initiatives and other NBAE projects Develop and execute integration plans with other online partners Define and provide interactive promotional support for key initiatives Use internet publishing tools to update WNBA sites Coordinate event coverage on site during Draft, Finals and other key periods Write and edit content on tight deadlines; maintain AP style standards on sites Create and publish content for NBDL and team sites and assist team personnel with production of content, promotion of ticket sales and other league initiatives. Required Skills/Knowledge: Internet- and computer-savvy Familiarity with web content and publishing interfaces; experienced in HTML coding Working knowledge of the WNBA and NBDL Experience Needed: Internet/web-design and/or desktop publishing experience strongly encouraged< BR> Editing background in print media (Internet, newspaper or magazine) required Educational Background Required: BA in English, Communications, Journalism or related field recommended
