Cincinnati 73 Liberty 62

Cincinnati held a double digit lead throughout most of the second half
after leading by 5 at the intermission. Debbie Merrill had an
outstanding game with 28 points and 7 rebounds. She got ample help from
Valerie King 18, and Anne Stephens 11. The Bearcat defense caused the
Flames to go deep into the shot clock on many occasions while attempts
to get the ball to the 6-8 center resulted in many turnovers.. Liberty
assisted on only 11 of 24 field goals while Cincinnati assisted on two
out of every three goals. 

The Flames were led by Daina Staugaitiene's 15 points. 6-8 Katie
Feenstra had 7 rebounds and 12 points but wasn't really a factor.
