BC headed to ACC!

Atlantic Coast Conference presidents today voted to offer membership to Boston
College, which is expected to accept, becoming the 12th member of the ACC, and
bolt the Big East.

BC has a good program, in the lower reaches of the top 25, and along with
Virginia Tech and a lesser extent Miami will make the ACC that much tougher as
a women's basketball conference come 2004-05.
