Re: Popovich says Laker haters are foolish

You must have been cryogenically frozen after the Spurs won the title in 99,
and unthawed last season The Lakers are not the Mavs or Pacers. The
Mavericks have a history of getting their asses kicked in the playoffs, so
giving them no props for their start last season made perfect sense. The
Lakers have won titles 3 out of the last 4 seasons. In each of those 3
seasons the Lakers got no props. Everybody and their dog had a "valid"
reason as to why the Lakers had no chance to win in all 3 championship
seasons and of course when they won it was either due to watered down
talent, or the refs and had absolutely nothing to do with the Lakers. Now
they are coming up with new reasons as to why the Lakers won't do anything
this year, and how much do you want to bet when the 4th title of the decade
comes a new excuse will be born. You are obviously extremely frustrated by
losing the game lastnight, so you should follow your own advise: "It's just
a regular season game". Regular season or not, you cannot tell me a
statement wasn't sent. Not a nail in the coffin by any means as the
playoffs will accomplish that, but definitely a statement.

By the way, thanks to the Spurs for babysitting the Lakers trophy last
season. Very kind of them.
