New Mexico - New Mexico State

It's time for the first of two annual New Mexico - New Mexico State 
games.  Which means it's time for my nearly annual post about the game.  
As a Lobo fan, I'm kind of dreading this season.  They had a losing 
record for the first time in forever last year and then they lost their 
best player - Ruben Douglas.  This is game is in Las Cruces, and New 
Mexico State seems to be one of the favorites in the Sun Belt.  New 
Mexico's likely best player, Bradley transfer Danny Granger is not 
eligible until next semester.  So far New Mexico beat up to DII teams and 
then lost to projected 8th place in the WCC finisher Portland.  In the 
Pit!  Come on, Ritchie McKay.  Please, impress me by winning tonight.  My 
hopes are not up for this one.
