You got it, Indiana does suck. Being a Hoosier fan and living in the middle of ACC country is tough. Attending the game last night was even worse. Think Davis and his team is in for a VERY long season of big losses. Wake does has some firepower but doubt they will match up to the usual ACC teams, even a surprise GT team. IU never seemed to make the offense click which would seem to be the answer if you are not stopping the other team. While Coverdale will probably no go on to be a great NBA player he at least took a middle of the road IU team to the Final Four. IU hasn't a player even close to having the leadership ability and heart that Coverdale had. Every player including Bracey Wright was just doing his own thang out there last night.Despite my bitching and whining I will say Patrick Ewing Jr. was a bright spot. 8 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. But more importantly he hussled way more than anyone, including AJ Moye, on the team. A few more pounds and PE Jr. may turn out to be "the" only bright spot for IU this year. Davis can say all he wants about putting this loss behind us, yadayadayada. But his team was unprepared for an butt-kicking. That all falls back on coaching and recruiting.
