Dick Vitale: The Biggest Fraud In College Hoops

College BB Fans,

Knowing how passionate all the posters here are about College BB, I am 
sure I am not alone when I say - I'm already tired of Dickie V's same old 
shtick. He should be ashamed to collect a paycheck, 'cause the one thing 
he doesn't do any of is - ANALYZE! Oh yeah, he can go on and on and on ad 
nauseum about somebody's poor momma whose just scraping by down in the 
bayous, or how his "great friend" Coach (insert any name) is doing (even 
though they aren't even playing that night), or some other irrelevant BS 
that has nothing to with the game he's "supposed" to be analyzing. I know 
y'all notice, just like I do, how little he has to say about the game at 
hand.

It saddens my heart to see how low college BB reporting has sunk. From 
the end of Final Four to the Tip-Off Classic I pine for college basketall 
to start. To see Duke, UNC, UConn, the Illini, Stanford, Coppin State, 
St. John's, 'Cuse, Wisconsin, Florida, Chaminade, and hundreds of other 
teams pound the boards is my passion. I just hate to see much of it 
ruined by a brainless, loud-mouth boor. Tonight's Illinois-UNC game was a 
perfect example. Dickie V [EMAIL PROTECTED] ruined it! And, one other observation - 
Notice how many of the play-by-play guys fall into the trap, start 
trading anecdotes with Dickie, and the game becomes completely secondary.
