The out-of-town yokels (a state of mind, not necessarily a state of locale!eh) are simply going to love my latest masterpiece: eheee What happens when you combine Rockefeller Center (hub of broadcasting) with a 79-foot, 9-ton Norway spruce tree, a 7-foot star, 30,000 lights, Enrique Iglesias, Harry Connick Jr. (mother was a sweet), Jessica Simpson, Gloria Estefan, Clay Aiken, Brian Setzer (native NYer, of Stray Cats fame) Orchestra, Ashanti (native NYer) & Ruben Studdard? The most wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful (ehe), wonderful (ehe) Christmas concert/lighting ceremony that will be televised live/nationally on NBC (founded by sweet David Sarnoff, birthplace & home to NYC/Rockefeller Center, first permanent radio network (NBC - subsidiary of RCA) in 1926 - home to Saturday Night Live, Dateline, Conan O'Brien, Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, etc., etc.), Dec. 3rd (tonight), 7-9 PM, EST. From Miracle on 34th Street to The World's most famous Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, there is no better historic place to be on Christmas/Chanukah time than Manhattan (NYC). New York is also home to the world's largest Menorah on 59th Street & 5th Avenue (hub of retail/fashion). Once again, everything that touches NY soil eventually becomes larger than life. Its holidays being no exception. Millions from around the world visit that famous tree. Millions more will be glued to their t.v. sets to watch the lighting ceremony. Whether Jew or Gentile, New York IS "The Greatest Show On Earth!" eh -D, NYC "The most popular selling Christmas song, "White Christmas," was written by a Jew" - IRVING BERLIN
