Well, our league is in our 17th year.  We have gotten so we only pay the 1
fee and don't pay for transactions and such.  With that in mind, if you "buy
out" a contract, there is no penalty as we figure you already paid the
higher salary anyways.  But you can't draft that player in the draft the
next year.

Current salary + (5 * (Length of Contract - 1))
