Blech. Anyone who thinks that Mussina had a mediocre postseason wasn't watching; they're just looking at the W/L column. Moose allowed 11 runs in 29 1/3 innings, which is good for a 3.38 ERA- far from mediocre. He got quality starts in three of his four games, and didn't miss by a huge amount in the fourth game. He also had 3 incredibly clutch innings of relief of Clemens in game 7 of the ALCS, which he not only escaped without giving up a run but also bailed Clemens out of a 1st and 3rd, none out situation. The only thing that Moose didn't do was to get some run support; his teammates scored just 5 runs in his three losses. -- Roger Moore | Master of Meaningless Trivia | ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations. -- James Madison
