The Yankees will still have a pretty decent lineup next year, but one that is nowhere near the caliber of Boston's. It seemed as if much of the Yankee's success these past couple of years was built on starting pitching. Now, I'm wondering how they're going to compete with a Boston team that will pretty much be the same as this past year's, only without the same starting rotation. Here's how I see it: Mussina: still around Clemens: retiring Wells: gone or retiring Pettite: free agent, might not return Weaver: probably will be traded It doesn't seem like there are going to be a ton of pitchers on the market this year. Anyone think that the Yankees aren't going to be so good next year? ----== Posted via Newsfeed.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeed.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! >100,000 Newsgroups ---= 19 East/West-Coast Specialized Servers - Total Privacy via Encryption =---
