The reason why you see these games in Wichita (in March) is they want to sell season tickets. It has been helpful that the season has been pushed back, otherwise you would have seen these games in Febbbbrrrrrrrruuuuuaaaarry. I believe its Wichita's policy that they will play anybody anwhere, all they ask for is a home return trip. Wichita scheduling should be helped even further if the MVC actually goes from the 4 to 3 game conference schedule. Then they will start having more mid-week games in April and May. > > Is Wichita less cold than I think it is? Problem is Kansas weather is not average so it will be either 70 or 40 degrees. > > Looks like Wichita's making a good effort to put together a > decent non-conference schedule, though. I believe WSU tries to put a decent non-conference every year. My main complaint is that every year there is a Howard (this year a Chicago St.) which destroys their strength of schedule. If Gene would only ask me for advice..... By my calculations for WSU to have a Top 10 RPI, they will have to have a 50-6 record. For a Top 25 RPI, 44-12 record.
