There's apparently a good deal of discussion at the other UC and Cal State schools to try and move up (which could be interesting, since CS-Hayward, CS-Dominguez Hills, and CSLA could all be competitive fairly quickly). This has the potential to iron out a lot of the RPI's inherent problems.
