   I'd have thought the rumors about Fresno State leaving the WAC were
   almost as bad.  I personally thought that when Rice, Tulsa, and SMU
   joined Conference USA, it almost eliminated the possibility of TCU
jumping
   ship (although the rumor does still persist, so there must be something
there,
   I guess).

   Other than those two, the only rumors I have heard relate to Cal State
Sacramento,
   and then a new football-only conference that would involve Southern Utah,
   St. Mary's, and some of the schools moving up from Division II.  Are
there
   other schools being bandied about that play baseball ?
