Are you kidding???  The folks at the USOC will look at this as a GOLDEN
marketing opportunity.  Remember the performance of the 1988 US olympic
basketball team and how it spurred the entrance of NBA players in the '92 Games
in Barcelona.  All in the name of America taking its rightful place as being
the elite in a sport that they are supposed to be dominant in.  And,...oh
right.... The $$$$ and merchandising.  Mustn't forget to sell Dream Team
t-shirts and jerseys.  Not to mention anything and everything with a Team USA
basketball logo stamped on it.

Mark my words.  MLB and the USOC will not pass up a Baseball Dream Team
opportunity when it comes in 2008.
