There won't ever be wooden bats in Division I-A, at least not in the Pac-10 because of money. Schools receive bats from these manufacturers. Washington State was one that wanted to vote down the aluminum bats since they don't have anything to lose (no companies giving them anything). From what I understand, other Pac-10 schools jumped down their throat.
