Kicked out on the street. Court ordered to never again come near. >thats why 90's guys know more than yawl quick >turn around punks. What, less jumps equates to knowing more? Well, I mean, they might know more about dirt-diving, by your little description - I can see that. > >>why were you bitching earlier about uspa >and the dz's running them run off? > >they were the lifeguards an important link was cut when hot water, designer TP >& AC came to the dz. Oh yeah - and like there aren't any lifeguards now - they just up and split (ran off) by water heaters, TP on a roll, and climate control. Bullshit - people you describe are still around, people do look after each other but what's obvious is, people could hardly give a rats ass about wondering what type of toilet paper might be on the roll and hot showers? Cold showers may have been your Saturday night habit but I've never heard of anyone blowing off a dz because one's shower was any more or less dynamic than another. A.C? Skydiviers got the bst AC in the world - straight up two miles or so. All this dropzone froo-froo doesn't mean shit to skydivers (though it pleases you to imagine it so - thus further buttressing your sandcastle of Paradise Lost so that Paradise will be less missed. Sour grapes. > >>You only have one skill-----video >>I guess you wudda made a great dz bum >Jer too bad their gonna run you off in the end ;-> > > > >>No, there's the crew and the rw and the >vrw (not really skilled in vrw >>but I can do it) > >not well enuff to pass it on I rukun Sure, I pass it on - what the fuck do you know? You're not at dz's. What, is the level of credibility now measured at giving tips on the usenet (which I've done, btw) as opposed to communicating with people where it counts - at dropzones? People ask me a question and if I got the answer, I'll share it but more importantly, if I don't know the answer I'll try to guide them to someone who does instead of, like you, making shit up and pretending I know the answer while suggesting the person with the question is an idiot. You see - you would pretend to pass stuff on so you could say you pass stuff on so others might think you're cool, while real people with their heads on straight pass on what they pass on because it's the right thing to do - they do it for others - not for themselves. You just have personal affirmation issues which you try real hard to hide by telling everyone just how *fill in the blank* you are on this or that. > >>heh, but unlike you, I don't assign self >worth to demonstration of >>some skill in a recreational past-time >> > >so you don't take skydiving seriously? Good thing their gonna run you off later Oh, I take it seriously. I mean, it's fun of course, I wouldn't be doing it otherwise but there comes a time before, during, and after every jump where certain things need to happen and if they don't happen then certain other things need to happen. There's a time and place for everything. I don't think the fact that I skydive makes me any more special than anyone else just as the fact that you once skydived (or anything else you imagine you've done) makes you any more or less special than anyone else. Assigning self worth because of such activity is a clear indicator of a personal belief in a lack of self worth. It's regularly and successfully arguing your brand of rhetorical bullshit into the ground on an electronic newsgroup which I don't take seriously. ...bsrp ...jlk
