Don't know about the bald tires. A regular car with reasonably good tires
should be okay unless there's a blizzard.

I wouldn't. You might choose to. One tip, though - if you plan on going to
Targhee from Jackson, and there is a big blizzard, you may want to consider
getting that 4WD, or arranging to take a bus from the Jackson area to
Targhee. I drove...

I stayed at the Super 8. It was good enough for me, the weekly rate was
cheap too.

If I get a job and enough vacation accrued soon enough, I'll be attempting
to make Steep and Deep Camp 2004 this coming year. Hope you have a good
