| I hesitate between Monnetier les bains (Auberge du Choucas) or
Chnatemerle
| (Hotel Plein Sud). Any advice about the choice ?
| Snow in december, accessibility for beginners, activity
(Chantemerle seems
| more afyive and Monnetier more traditional).
| If anyone has stayed in thiese places, I would appreciate some
hints...

| Thank you very much

Chantemerle (1400) is a mix of old and new, like Monétier it has
a traditional village centre but has been developed and offers a
good range of activities and a pretty good night life. Monétier
remains a village-style resort and at 1700 is more snow sure. All
the resorts face north though, so other than very early and late
in the season there's usually no problem. The resorts are linked
of course, but for immediate access to the best snow, highest
vertical drop and range of runs I would opt for Monétier. Fraid I
haven't stayed in the hotels you mention.
