I DISAGREE that new skis SHOULD come with edges beveled. I prefer no
bottom bevel (flat), and 2deg acute side bevel; It's practically
impossible to get a flat bottom bevel back if some doofus at the factory
decided everyone must ski a beveled bottom. But it's trivial to add a
bottom bevel for those who want one. So what's up with forcing everyone
into one mold?
New skis SHOULD come flat and square, and let everyone bevel how he prefers.
