Underground Radio

If you'd like a different viewpoint on national and international news
and events, allow me to recommend my favorite radio station: WMNF,
88.5 FM in Tampa, Florida. It's available on the web at
http://www.wmnf.org.
     It's a Radio Pacifica affiliate, with news and public affairs
airing weekdays from 11 a.m.  -  2 p.m.  Eastern Time. They also offer
an hour of news at 6 p.m.
     Besides news, there's a great mix of music, including country,
folk, rock, jazz, new wave, hip-hop and music of the British Isles.
They have their program schedule online, so you can find more than I
can list here. They even have radio theatre.
     The station is listener supported, so you won't find the kind of
programming on stations like Clear Channel affiliates. They celebrate
their 24th anniversary this year, so you know they're not a here
today, gone tomorrow sort of occurrence.
     Check them out. You're not likely to be disappointed.
