The station I work for uses a 50kW PEP transmitter on Band I channel A4. It drives a circularly-polarized antenna to achieve 100kW EIRP in both the horizontal and vertical planes.

Circular polarization is relatively unusual among U.S. TV stations, but I'm sure there are plenty of other 25kW or larger Band I transmitters on the air here. A previous employer used a 25kW-rated transmitter (turned down to 18kW) to drive a horizontally-polarized antenna to 56kW ERP.
