U.S. Customs? Yeah so what? That is used simply for the purposes of levying an
import duty (or not).

Whether something is considered to be an antique or not is simply a matter of
convention or custom. Cars may have one designation, radios may have another, as
does furniture. An old computer may be considered an 'antique'.

But it all depends with whom or what commodity one is dealing with. Different
groups, by convention or custom, have decided what they consider to be
'antique'. It just happens that US Customs has settled on the 100 year mark, as
have others, but they are not necessarily the final arbiter on what gets the
designation of 'antique'.

In other words CW, you are wrong, wrong, wrong. Give it up...
