Darren,
your is probably not the only case. However, the HR2600 does have a nasty
habit of opening into 11 meters when one does the chipswitch to open 12
meters. This is not neccessarily true in all cases (depending on the
version of the chipswitch used).

you might want to take the radio in, have it examined by a tech with a
G.R.T.O lic. from the FCC (commercial grade lic.). and then have him sign an
affidavit attesting to the specifications the radio is currently capable
of. submit a copy of that along with your posting back to qrz.com and see
what goes. Thats all I can suggest.
